Travelling to Central and South America offers the chance to explore some of the world's most stunning natural wonders. Here's what you can expect from our itineraries:
- Yosemite National Park in California is home to majestic granite cliffs, lush meadows, and cascading waterfalls. Almost 95% of the park is designated wilderness! After amazing trekking, the team will have an opportunity to visit Alcatraz, the Golden Gate bridge and go shopping in the city’s malls.
- Costa Rica boasts a wealth of biodiversity with its rainforests, Caribbean and Pacific coastlines, and active volcanoes. Roughly a quarter of its area is made up of protected jungle, teeming with wildlife including spider monkeys and quetzal birds. The team can visit Cahuita, home to birds and animals such as the coati and the three-toed sloth. They can also choose to explore other sites such as the Gardens, the Sloth Sanctuary or Playa Negra – the famous black sandy beach.
- Peru, the land of the Inca, has an array of archaeological sites such as Machu Picchu where teams can witness ancient Inca ruins perched atop mountain peaks. Another highlight includes Lake Titicaca, where you will spend the night with a local family on a floating reed island!
