Our Story
Adventure Lifesigns began in 1999 and has been delivering bespoke overseas expeditions to students and adults for the past 23 years. Over the years we have developed and adapted to the needs of our clients, and pride ourselves on offering a bespoke service.
We are industry experts in providing safe, educational and life-changing experiences to groups. Not only do we take teams away on expeditions, but as an NGB qualification centre, we also train thousands of people every year with our UK-based courses, such as water safety, first aid, navigation and risk management. Adventure Lifesigns are AALS registered, hold comprehensive professional indemnity insurance and only use NGB qualified instructors.

Please note all medical conditions are fully covered whilst overseas (provided you will not be travelling contrary to medical advice or to obtain medical treatment or suffering from any medical condition or symptoms which, are awaiting or receiving investigation, treatment, tests, referral, or review or the results of any of the foregoing).
Financial security
As a UK Tour Operator specialising in worldwide expeditions all our flights and holidays are financially guaranteed under a government-backed scheme.
We have always held our customers' financial security as our highest priority. We carry the Government backed holiday protection ATOL licence (9303) which means that every penny you spend with us is fully protected no matter how you pay (credit/debit card, cash or cheque).
Staff
Our Expedition Leaders are some of the best trained and selected staff in the industry. Their qualification and training are as follows:

- 2-day staff preparation conference weekend

Safety
Adventure Lifesigns takes the Health and Safety of its staff and Explorers extremely seriously.
Our staff are individually selected to lead groups overseas. The selection of staff is based on many factors, including both hard and soft skills. We select our Expedition Leaders on their knowledge, communication and experience. All our Expedition Leaders are thoroughly vetted and work closely with us prior to departure. We ensure that Expedition Leaders have the necessary skills to help bring out the best in our students, and we recruit leaders on a case-by-case basis.
Expedition leaders are equipped with a Satellite Telephone, Personal Locator Beacon, Satellite Tracking Beacon and a Global Positioning System Handset (GPS). As well as having advanced remote medical qualifications, our Expedition Leaders are linked to a 24-hour “teli-medical” system with UK doctors on-call 24 hours a day.
Our Sustainable Values
We always have the environment in mind when we work. Many of our staff travel to work using public transportation, electric vehicles and cycling. We recycle as much as we can in the office and only print when necessary.
