Short-haul, but filled with adventure

At Adventure Lifesigns, as well as long-haul expeditions, we also offer itineraries around Europe. The perfect way to get away with your school group if you are looking for a 7-10 day expedition. You will still have the chance to experience new cultures, and challenging treks and help make a difference in local communities.

Europe is a continent full of history, culture, and breath-taking scenery, here is a taster of some of our most popular European itineraries:

• The Azores, an archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean known for its lush volcanic landscapes, beautiful beaches, and thermal springs. Teams visit the UNESCO world heritage vineyards, adventure on a whale watching tour, and the biggest achievement, summiting Mount Pico.
• Soak up the historic Saxon town of Brasov, trek in the Bucegi Natural park and volunteer at the largest bear orphanage in Romania.
• Slovenia is home to gorgeous Alpine lakes surrounded by pine forests, picturesque cities, and the famous Bled Castle. Teams will explore the town of Bavoc, soak up its rich culture and wander the cobbled streets admiring its architectural wonders.
• Armenia boasts ancient monasteries perched atop mountainsides overlooking deep gorges. Teams can trek to a 4th century cave-monastery, where they will hear stories and legends about the origin of Christianity and the “Spear of Destiny” and travel through beautiful alpine terrains to the 2800m high Dragon lake in the Geghama mountains.
